The simple shoe equation

Mathematics can be a complicated subject with all that pi, algebra and calculus floating around, but there is one simple equation we can all understand:

The main problem here is that walking on hard ground for four hours/18 holes in the summer months can take its toll on our feet.

Blisters and bleeding are common signs that something isn't quite right and the issue will only be exasperated if your golf shoes are worn, cracking or ill-fitting.

So, what’s the answer?

Adjust to your surroundings

Driver adjustability has been a marketing buzz term for a number of years now, but how much of a difference will it really make to your game? Well, we decided to find out.

We could bamboozle you with tech speak when it comes to adjustability but there are two key ways in which today's drivers can be adjusted to suit your swing, making a custom fitting more important than ever before.

Perimeter weighting

The first is the ability to adjust weights on the sole of the head to favour either a draw, fade or neutral shot shape.

Hosel adjustability

The second is the ability to adjust loft and lie angles in the hosel.

Take Cobra's ultra-fast looking F9 Speedback driver for example. If you're launching your driver too low or high, hosel adjustability allows us to add or take away loft until we get the perfect launch conditions for your swing.

Custom fitting is key

The F9 Speedback also comes with interchangeable sole weights to adjust your spin rates. So with all this adjustability, it's vital that you come and speak to a member of the team for more information on how a custom fitting will benefit your game.
